The Baron of Latiz (Romance Mashup)

The Upsilon Andromedae series is a historical sweet romance/sci-fi sober mashup. Books in this series are published in a serial format on this website until halfway through the book. My definition of "sweet" is no sex on screen, some adult situations, swear words are invented, and violence is not detailed.

Book Description:

In the year 1339 after colonization of the planet Samh, the sheltered, flirtatious, and manipulative Amoranda is surrounded by suitors who swarm her estate after both her parents die and leave her to her own devices. Unlike other women on Samh, she was never trained in self-defense or how to spot losers. She has much growing up to do before she will be ready to manage the estate.

Valanthus, Baron of Latiz, loved Amoranda when they were children. However, as a precocious child, she banished him from her presence. When her uncle asks him to put on a disguise, scare away the sharks, and win her heart, he doesn't think it will work. But what do you do when the woman you love is being hounded by some of the worst men in the province and has no way of fending them off herself?
